Design One is an introductory course into theatrical costume, scenic, lighting, and sound design. In groups, we tackled on creating a cohesive design vision for each of these design fields for the play Witch written by Jen Silverman. 

 

Overall, I enjoyed my time in design one. I was worried about the group project aspect of the course; however, my group was amazing and lovely to work with.  During my time in this course, I learned that I liked costume design and wanted to keep exploring that area.

My favorite piece I made for the scenic model we created was the little chest for Elizabeth's cottage!
