Differing from design one, design two explores theatrical design more deeply. Instead of designing in groups, each part of the project is done individually. The musical we designed for all semester was Urinetown.

After when I took design one, I knew I wanted to take this course. Before coming to Loyola, I had no idea that I would enjoy design as much as I do. I enjoyed this class more than the design one since I was able to work independently on the design process. My favorite units were the costume and scenic sections. However, I still really liked the lighting and sound units. For costuming and scenic, I enjoy being able to draw my ideals how rather than working on the computer.

Overall, Design II was an eye-opening experience for me that has propelled me further down the theatrical design route.
